Growing up, I was often told things like “you’re too sensitive”, “don’t take it so personally”, “it’s not a big deal, stop taking everything so seriously”, and so on.
Did those comments help? Of course not!
They just made it worse and made me want to hide my true emotions (masking) to protect myself.
But that can often lead to outburst of anger and frustration when we hold our emotions in.
In today's episode, I will discuss how suppressing our emotions can lead to outbursts of anger, and what to do about it.
